Dr. Leah Jackson, VMD

A proud graduate of the University of Pennsylvania (SAS ’99, VMD ’03), I launched my veterinary career with a VIRMP-accredited medical and surgical internship, followed by five years working alongside a board-certified surgeon. My credentials include USDA accreditation, advanced ultrasound training at Universal, and extensive hands-on experience in surgery, ultrasound, and endoscopy from CSU’s TMI program. I’ve also gained invaluable emergency skills through specialized ER training at VEG.

With over twenty years in general practice, urgent care, emergency medicine, dentistry, surgery, endoscopy, and ultrasound, I have served both private and corporate practices, always prioritizing client experience and medical excellence. For the past decade, I’ve focused on personal and organizational development, and leadership— coaching private clients in all fields, mentoring veterinarians, and guiding organizations in medical operations.

I am a member of the ICF, with formal leadership training in communication, emotional intelligence, engagement, conflict management, and professional development from respected programs (including Sally Ryan Coaching, RP Coaching, and serving as an L&D lecturer at VEG and the Transformational Academy). I’m also DISC and Situational Leadership certified.

Currently, I serve as Fractional Head of Veterinary Medicine at Juno Vet and consult for Guardian Veterinary Specialists. I am the founder of VMD Coaching and Consulting, Inc.
